Why You Should Advertise with Golf Course Aerial Photos

Several aspects of a golf course will attract golfers and homeowners to the area, most having to do with appearance. They want the greenest fairways and picture rolling hills over which are spread sparkling waters and white sandy pits. The course should be surrounded by loads of natural beauty and perhaps backed by a fine, quiet neighborhood. While you could obviously describe all this to a potential customer through an ad, imagine how much more effective golf course aerial photos could be in portraying the course to the individual.

The purpose of golf course aerial photos is to give interested parties an overall idea of what to expect from the course. Pictures taken from a plane or helicopter overhead show an entire course, revealing the actual size of the course, as well as the general layout. Golf course aerial photos show the hazards along the way, the location of each putting green and hole, and give an idea of the variation in elevations across the course. You’ll also be able to see the surrounding area, including the trees or shrubbery that lines the edges of the course and what lies beyond.

In many of the Midwestern states, such as Colorado, you’ll find that many of the golf courses offer beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains on the horizon; golf course aerial photos make this perk obvious to the viewer without having to catch that perfect angle from the course itself. You’ll also be able to see the proximity of residencies to the course, knowing just how much of a danger there is of hitting a ball into someone’s backyard or, even better, how close you can live to the fairways themselves.

Another perk of golf course aerial photos is that it shows how remote the location of the course is. While most people prefer the course be easily accessible, it is also not necessarily appealing for it to be next to a freeway with nothing but a chain link fence for separation. All of this can be seen from golf course aerial photos, which is why they are a great marketing tool. You can find services that actually specialize in the provision of golf course aerial photos through a simple search on the Internet. Some of these sources even provide mapping, GIS sources, and digital imaging for golf courses. Adding these to your website or even having golf course aerial photos on your advertisements can make a world of difference in your return on marketing investment, bringing in a much greater profit margin.
